Receiving enjoyment in its purest form is a pleasure for young and old. This is what the Swabian company Storz is specialized in. Since 1884, the family firm Chr. Storz GmbH & Co. KG has been producing chocolate in Tuttlingen, Baden-Württemberg.

We are known for our lovingly designed and finest milk chocolate figures and praline specialties for all occasions. Get to know our little Santa Claus, cute penguins, stars, rabbits, lambs, eggs, butterflies, cars, hearts, flowers and of course the famous Storz Beetle as well as many more. We provide chocolate without any alienated fillings, unnecessary sweetness or alcohol. Storz chocolate is pure chocolate and pure fun. And exclusively “Made in Germany”.

On top of our full milk products, we offer an exclusive nougat praline assortment. Directly imported hazelnuts are freshly roasted, mixed, and handled in a sophisticated production process. This results in an extraordinarily strong aroma development and creaminess. “Nougat pure” is the guiding principle of this unique specialty which is available in different, high-quality recipes.

Tasteful Tradition

It all started in the 19th century with the confectioner Johann Georg Storz. In 1872 he created an extensive handwritten recipe book with treasures from the culinary world, which is still in its original form today for his son Christian Storz. This resulted in the first fabrication in 1884 with the foundation of Chr. Storz. At first, baked goods – such as gingerbread, macaroons, biscuits and fruit bread – were produced. An exhibition at our location shows product exhibits from more than 130 years of Storz history.

After first successes, the firm started to expand in 1900. In 1911 Christian’s son Hugo Storz joined the family business. In 1950, Heinrich Schinle took over the firm. Together with his wife Sigrid, the daughter of Hugo, the lawyer headed the company for more than 40 years with ever increasing success. Dr. Markus Schinle, the great-grandson of the founder, is the owner and manager since 1990. Today, he leads Storz together with the authorized signatories Petra Mayer (operations) and Frank Kaiser (sales).

We are also proud of long-standing employees whose great dedication and consistently high company loyalty make them the most significant contributor to many years of success. Storz is traditionally a typical women’s business with a women’s share of around 90 percent.
